Country Life Books, formerly Beacon Books, is a secondhand bookseller on downtown Canyon Street. The storefront highlights the country living collection — gardening, cooking, crafts — alongside popular shelves of literature, history, mystery, fiction, non-fiction, science fiction, children's books, biography, poetry, travel, religion and art.

Rare and antiquarian books, the nautical and military history collection, and academic titles are available through the ever-expanding online catalogue. It is our hope that the entire warehouse inventory will be available online in the months to come.
